I used to keep the ribbons in a small box, but since I got a bit more ribbons I started keeping them in this cool bag that says ART πŸ™‚

I’m glad that was helpful ladies. I’m still procrastinating πŸ™ Unfortunately, it isn’t my fault, but I’ve been super busy around the house, that I haven’t got the time to sit and devote my time to the scrapbook. Every time I walk by the shelf and see the file for the scrapbook and some photos I’ve prepared, I feel so guilty for taking so much time…[Read more]

I love ribbon bows on dresses or tunics. Most commonly I use them to tie a bow around the loose dress or tunics, but sometimes I simply make a nice ribbon bow and sew it to the dress. It is usually on the place where straps are attached to the dress or sometimes on the back.

If they’re girls, I’d suggest making accessories, such as ribbon hair bows, bracelets or necklaces. These are great crafts, plus you’ll get a finished product they’ll love and be able to use.

    I love this one

  • Resist overcrowding a room – This can make a house or an apartment look quite messy and untidy. I prefer a simple look with as few items as possible.
When hanging a picture, make sure its middle is in the eye level. This way it attracts the attention and it’s easy to look at it (no raising the view)
Set up priorities – For example, when d…[Read more]

  • I don’t have too many ribbons, as I’m only starting out with using them in my crafts, but I really like these holder ideas. For now, they’re in a small shoe box, but since I’m planning to expand my collection, I’ll think about making one of these holders. Thanks for the ideas.

  • I’m looking forward to the guide, it’s sure going to be helpful. I know about satin ribbon and burlap, and I’d love to learn more.

  • I love the bridal bouquets too πŸ™‚ In general, I much prefer satin ribbon for weddings, although I admit burlap ribbon can also look quite nice, especially for an outdoor wedding.

I’ve just found this amazing template, and thought I’d share it with your here, because you might use some of the pages or they might inspire you when creating your own custom template. It’s great if you want to print the pages directly, or if you’ve decided to write each section, the layout and the sections might be helpful to have in mind:…[Read more]

  • Weddings are perfect opportunity to use ribbon in so many different ways. Besides ribbon flowers, I’d also suggest ribbon bows for the chairs or to create garlands, ribbons bows or flowers to create bracelets for the bridesmaids, etc.

  • I love these ideas so much πŸ™‚ I wouldn’t even think about using bows in some of these ways, but now that I’ve seen these creative projects, I’ll have to try some of them myself.

I’ve just bought a file I’ll be using for the scrapbook I’m making. I’ve checked out those ready-made ones, where you simply fill in the details, but I must say, I don’t like them. First of all, I’ve seen some pages I’d have to live blank and I don’t have some milestone pages I’d like to have (first rollover for example). Plus, there’s nothing…[Read more]

  • Megan replied to the topic Materials to upcycle in the forum Craft Discussions 2 months ago

I think there are a lot of things to upcycle, basically anything that is worn out or seems a bit too old. For example, I’ve got this baby carrier, and you could tell it’s pretty worn out, originally it was a dark color, and it started to fade away. What bothered me the most is that it faded irregularly, it looked awful. I’ve used clothing dye and…[Read more]

  • Great ideas, I especially like the burlap bag. That burlap rose flower looks very beautiful, and it can be used for other projects as well.

I’d like to make this burlap canvas, I think it would look great in my hallway. I was planning to make one for our family photos, and one for my kids’ art projects.
